Egyptian Official Cites Verse of Quran to Refute Zionist Regime’s Claims

IQNA – Egypt’s representative in the Arab League cited a verse the Holy Quran’s Surah Al-Kahf to refute a recent claims made by the Zionist regime.

Mohamed Arfi said no one believes the lies told by the Israeli regime at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

He made the remarks in an extraordinary meeting of the member states’ representatives in the Arab League.

Citing Verse 5 of Surah Al-Kahf “Surely, of this they have no knowledge, neither they nor their fathers; it is a monstrous word that comes from their mouths, they say nothing but a lie”, he said the scenes of destruction in the Gaza Strip is there before the eyes of the world’s people.

Arfi referred to the Israeli regime’s calling unavoidable the forced displacement of the people of Gaza as one of these lies that cannot convince even a five-year-old boy.

He stressed that the issue of Palestine is not just related to the Arab people.

It is an issue related to all noble people in the world who believe in ethics and oppose injustice, blockade, destruction and usurpation.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Arfi lauded the steadfastness of the people of Palestine in the face of the brutal aggression of the Zionist regime.

He also reiterated the decisive stance of Egypt in support of the Palestinians.

South Africa has lodged the allegation of Israel’s genocidal intent in Gaza with the UN International Court of Justice.

Several countries, including Turkey, Iran, Malaysia, Venezuela, and Brazil, have supported South Africa in its stance against Israel.

The Zionist regime launched a brutal onslaught against Gaza on October 7, 2023, More than 25,000 people have been killed in the Israeli strikes on Gaza since then, most of them women and children.
